Uppu Karuvaadu is fourth in two years

It’s always a difficult task to make films based on moviemaking drama. There were times, when this genre was reluctant among the makers and even when made it was something like a serious theme, but now it has gradually turned into humorous zone. In the past two years nearly, three films have been already done on this concept that includes Jigarthanda and Kathai Thiraikathai Vasanam Iyakkam followed by recent release Masala Padam. Director Radha Mohan, maker of many entertainers like Mozhi, Azhagiya Theeye, Abhiyum Naanum and Payanam has now come up with Uppu Karuvaadu, which again is based on the same theme. Coincidentally, Radha Mohan’s previous films like Mozhi, Azhagiye Theeye, Payanam and Vellithirai directly or indirectly had a character from showbiz as actors or technicians.
